The Spiritual Leader of the Druze Community
and President of the Druze Religious Council

It is no coincidence that this pioneering website of the Heritage Center is launched today, embodying the Center’s vision of bringing together the past and present, tradition and future. Through these important pages, broadcast to the world, it presents chapters from the history of the Druze community and its notable figures to every visitor, reader, and inquirer – both from within the community and from other societies.

Since the establishment of the Druze Heritage Center, we have witnessed – and continue to witness – its many positive contributions to the social and intellectual life of the Druze community. We have seen its initiatives in planning activities, dialogues, and meetings that have brought together various segments of the Unitarian community around a table of deep discussion, addressing important issues across all aspects of life, with a focus on preserving the Unitarian heritage and passing on the message of the Druze tradition to future generations. This mission has been carried out with the help of the finest minds, intellectuals, and community leaders, all working with dedication and sincerity.

Our close knowledge of the Heritage Center’s work, and our continuous support for its efforts as the spiritual leadership and the Supreme Druze Religious Council, have confirmed to us on many occasions the importance and central role this center plays – particularly in adding an academic and scientific dimension to Unitarian research, establishing a research hub dedicated to studying Druze history, and shedding new light on important milestones that until recently remained obscured. These efforts have been placed within a globally recognized academic framework and translated into several Western languages, with the aim of reaching readers and researchers in universities worldwide.

Through this new academic and research-oriented approach, the Druze community in the country can ensure that its authentic and clear voice is heard, and that it tells its own story of heritage and social history – after many years of being misrepresented in social media and being the subject of rumors and myths invented for the purposes of certain authors and writers.

We therefore reiterate our congratulations on the launch of this pioneering website, confident that it will serve as an open gateway for all to access its rich content and benefit from the wide range of topics prepared with precision, based on careful research and verification of sources and facts.

We hope that the Heritage Center’s management and staff will continue along this noble path, carrying the torch of heritage that remains alight in our hearts and homes. We wish you all an enjoyable and fruitful browsing experience.
